PARIS APARTMENT – 2018
210 sqm apartment
Approx. budget £670K

Thanks to the recommendation of our company by one of our friendly clients, we had the great pleasure of working on the project of an interior design in one of the beautiful historic apartment in one of the Parisian tenement houses. A couple of clients, living outside Europe, moved to France to arrange a new place to live and work.

One of our tasks has become to ensure that the historic interior fabric and as many as possible of the existing period features are recreated and to blend the classic character of the interior with modern equipment in the most non-invasive way possible.

It was decided to use a soft grey matte finish on the walls which became a blank canvas to highlight the selection of contemporary furniture and art. One of the proposed solutions was to move the kitchen to the dining room, which allowed us to obtain an additional room for the home office.

By combining the timeless forms of the frame structure of the kitchen and the minimalist set of materials, it was possible to achieve the impression of coherence and elegance with the simultaneous ergonomic and modern use of space. After the long research, we finally decided to design and make a set of bespoke bedroom furniture, starting from the central part of the bedroom – the bed. Thanks to this, we managed to perfectly match the proportions and consistent colour of the furniture complemented by the coffee tables from La Chance and some of our favourite lamps and accessories.

The use of a uniform colour tone and a very limited amount of finishes allowed us to obtain a coherent and cosy character of the apartment while maintaining the impression of spaciousness and beauty of classic French architecture.
